Ok, so I have only been out several times in my Hobie Pro Angler and was cleaning it over the weekend and it fell off the saddles. It took a good gouge out of the hull but did not go all the way though. Should I leave alone or fill it in with something? Any suggestions?

Not sure I'd be too worried about some scratches and gouges... How deep are they? If it makes you feel any better, all my kayaks look like I've dragged them several miles behind my truck. But if it's so deep that you think it will leak here are some solutions.

Use some plastic weld

Add some Keelsheild Here is Andre's post

This is mainly for superficial scratches

Its my first real "wound" and its only as deep at a ball point pen tip, so I may have just needed to moral support for second guessing myself, thanks for the info. I saved them links for future use.

Sounds like you just need some moral support there...LOL. It always hurts putting that first scratch in your yak. But pretty soon you'll be dragging it over sand bars like the rest of us. Just be glad you don't have oyster beds up there.
