Looking for everyone's opinion.
I'm looking to buy some new fishing/everyday wear polarized sunglasses.
I don't like spending a lot on shades, so looking for something good under $50...or lower:cheer:

How big of a dome do you have? I have a few used pairs of Costa's that I'd sell ya, but I have a melon of a dome!

what do you have mark?
For a cheap pair of glasses the calcutta glasses or flying fisherman are not to bad.
I am a costa guy I spent the money on them now will never go back to the cheap ones

I have a couple of used pairs, I'll look what models they are. I agree with Chuck, sunglasses are not something I skimp on. I was a Ocean Waves fan until they started going cheap, then was in Costas for a long time. After Kaenon sent me a pair of Hard Cores they are my go to sunglasses! No where near $50 but I love them!

Check out Guidelines - www.glpolarized.com/ - they have good quality shades no matter what your budget - which is hard to find. You're either spending $200 or $15 off the rack....there's no middle ground but with Guidelines, they have a some $50.00 options for you.

Currently, I'm using Bimini Bays with brown lenses and Flying Fisherman with smoke gray lenses.

Apparently, this is something I need to think about investing in. Had one pair of expensive shades when I was about 28 and I laid them on the top of my car and drove off (after a weekend-long, 24 hr/day softball marathon where there was quite a bit of alcohol...I was sober when I left, but worn out!) I thought I was seeing into the water pretty well with my 20.00 berkley's, but mebbe not? :blackeye:

Only when we were standing on a sandbar. Didn't really look into the water much because it was only a couple of inches deep.

Check out Bomber Eyewear. I have two pairs and love them both. Lite weight, they flaot and the best is that they block out all light from getting behind the lens, which just kills sight fishing.

I have a hard time with the glass lens, more expensive brands. For me, the best I have ever bought.
