TOPIC: Yak-Power Battery Box Charging question

Yak-Power Battery Box Charging question 1 month 2 weeks ago #1

Hello people. So, I just purchased a Yak-Power Battery box. I installed new 2-9ah batteries in it. Powered up fish finder no problem. I have plugged it into the wall, with the supplied "smart" charger. When not plugged in, the light on the block for the wall outlet is green. When I plugged it in to charge, it turned to red. the switch is ON, as it says on the paperwork. Should this light turn green, indicating full charge? I have searched online and their website, with no answer. Typically any trickle charger I have used, turns green upon completion. these have been plugged in for about 24 hours now. DO I leave them plugged in, to maintain? Do I wait for them to turn green? And secondly, how long should it take to charge these batteries, when I finally get back on the water?

Thank you for any help.

Yes. It will turn green with a full charge.

Note that the box's power switch must he in the "on" position for the batteries to charge.
