Has anyone tried out both of these? Looking on the Native site it looks like the Slayer has many of the same features the Cuda and Coosa have. I'm just wondering if anyone can say if they like one or the other better. Thanks!

I'll have a full review of the Slayer that will publish Monday.

I didn't get to paddle the Slayer but looking at the hull, it appear to be a happy medium between the Coosa and the Cuda. It was a good looking kayak.

There were a few anglers that paddled the Native Slayer at the Boondoggle. But I did not.

If I recall YakSushi used one for the entire day on Saturday at the Boondoggle. We will have to wait on his report I guess.

I have paddled the Cuda and I paddled the Slayer prototype a while back. They were pretty similar feeling to me. I did like the seat of the slayer better and it felt more stable when standing

What timing!

I too am planning on a new kayak next spring, and as of right now, it'll be either the Slayer 14 or the Cuda 14. Can't wait to demo them!
Native Watercraft Slayer 14.5 (Camo)
Native Watercraft Manta Ray 14 (Ice)
Old Town Vapor 10 Angler (Sand)

I paddled the Slayers at Outdoor Retailer this year. I'm curious to see how Mark review compares to what I remember of my time in the boats.

Nice review Mark, do you think it is better, worse or the same/just different than the Coosa?
