My wife and I just picked up two new Hobie kayaks a couple weeks ago. I got an Outback and she got a Sport. We mainly got them for cruising around and taking them to some snorkeling spots, but I'd like to do some fishing too. I've gone fishing before, but I'm effectively new to it, so lots to learn. We're in the panhandle, Okaloosa county, if there's anyone else in the area.

Welcome and good luck. I'll be headed to the area next spring but will still be new to the salt water kayak fishing at that point.

I'm from Florida and am moderately experienced in kayaking and fishing, but not the two at the same time. I have a vibe sea ghost 130 and have caught a few small fish from it so far. just wanted to introduce my self on this website. tight lines always :fishing: :)
