This post is for everyone.
I am asking that you send me a picture of your rigged kayak. Please include the year, make, and model. If you own more than one, please send pictures of the others.

When I joined Yakangler about a year ago, I had just recently purchased a Wilderness Ride 115. I went online and looked high and low for pictures of what other people had done with their kayaks. One of the cautions that I received from many people was to be patient and "know what I wanted and where I wanted it before making any modifications". Well I took that advice seriously and waited about 1 month from the time that I started fishing. After that I moved cautiously and proceeded with an anchor trolley. That was followed by an additional rod holder. I can honestly say that I am pleased that I took my time. Believe me when I say it was difficult, but I have no unnecessary holes in my kayak as a result of waiting. Other changes are still happening after I spent a lot of time on do-it-yourself posts and sites. Some things worked other things I ended up scrapping and buying the original item.

In the past year I have seen a large number of people who are purchasing their first kayak. They initially seek advice about which kayak to buy. As soon as they get it, they start wondering what they need and what they want. If there is a local club or group this eases some of the problem, but many people don't have access to such a group. What I would like to do is to collect pictures of various makes and models that have been rigged. I would like to arrange them by manufacturer, year and model. I would like to include the name of the person who owns the kayak so if someones see a kayak modification that they want more information on they could contact the owner to see how the modifications was done.

Everyone I have met seems pretty pleased with "their" kayak. Here is a chance to "show off" your handiwork.

I have gotten permission to do this from the Yakangler Staff.

I really appreciate your help.

Before we start getting all those Hobie pics, I figured I'd continue the Trident 13 theme. Here is my Trident 13 rigged out doing battle:
