Loaded up all the families Kayaks on Friday and made the 3 hour trek to Lake George NY for a week + worth of vacation. Got to go out Saturday morning for about 4 hours until the jet skiers woke up, which was mostly spent trolling around deep water looking for bait fish on the sonar and the Lake Trout that feed on them. Finally located them in 120'-140' of water, once the majority of the tourists head home on Monday it will be time to seriously try and catch them. In the mean time I did pick up manage to pick up a dozen bass (both Sallies and Larries) the largest being 18", and some yellow perch. Sunday morning got rained out with a nasty thunderstorm so no fishing yet. Here are some pictures.

The X-Factor doesn't look all that small next to the other boats.

Awesome! Lake George is one of the things the family misses having moved from NY to FL. Say hello to the Lobster Pot for us!

Had a short but good morning on the 4th the jet skiers and tourists were out early trying to run me over. Still managed half a dozen small bass and an 18" pike before getting chased off the lake. Tomorrow the real fishing starts!

Actually my youngest sons kayak stacks perfect on my X-Factor so I could get 2 more on there.

Lake George looks great! I fished there a couple years ago while visiting family in Saratoga. I love paddling around all the islands, caught a few smallies, but no luck with the lakers. Catch em' up.

Yep love the snips. The tape looks cool but it only seems to work with "boga" style grips. So I found my foga grips today and will give it a try tomorrow.

Also caught another pike today and a 14" large mouth and an 11" yellow perch.

Well I finished up the vacation today. Had a blast and caught a well over 50 Bass for the week and 5 good size pike. Including a 18" LMB and a 26" Pike.
