Getting myself pumped up for fishing opener here in Minnesota. Chasing BIG smallies in the kayak is my favorite!

That was a GREAT VIDEO!!!!
There is nothing like a jumping SMALLIE on the end of your line.
I am so thankful I have SMALLIE fishing all around my area.....
The only fresh water fish in my eyes thst can come close to a SMALLIE battle is a Rainbow trout hooked in the upper Delaware river!!!

Thanks Chez! Agreed! That's awesome you get to fish smallmouth. The sure do love to dance out the water. I would love to catch a big river rainbow. I have caught trout around here but nothing huge. Thanks for checking out the video

My PB,Rainbow out of the Delawere is a hair shy of 7lb.was 26".
Just above Handcock Ny.
#14 dryfly hook with 4lb test.11 1/2' noodle rod.
Bait was corn.kinda proud of that fish on that gear.
I landed a lot of bows over 5lb in thst area.
Some big browns also.
It's a great area to trout fish.

Those are some awesome fish man! 7lb trout would be sweet. My goal is to catch a big brown. We have some dandys in southern Minnesota rivers.
