Well, the boy did great at his game and I was off to test out the cuda. It is a little cold so I had my jeans and cowboy boots on and got on the cuda and started paddling around a bit. It was way different then my emotion, some good, some bad. Well it was time to stand and put it to the test. I got up, looked around a little, it felt right. Then I started to lean to one side a little, thinking the hull would slap and stop me (like on the emotion) I didnt try to stop myself. Then I hit the point of no return and I knew I was going in. Got wet, got back in the yak and went back to shore to put on my shorts and wet shoes to try it again. Once back out I noticed it was a lot more stable for me. I also tried the high seat position... Talk about scary. I felt like I was in the scary place between standing and sitting where you have no control. This yak isnt out of the question yet, im going to have to try it out a little more before I make up my mind on it.

Now I am off to do some fishing.

No I think it was the cowboy boots.

I hope it all works out for you, but for others, this is why you demo before purchase.

Yeah, I know... I should have known better then to stand in the jeans and boots.

Anyways, went out fishing for a little bit to test out the new SHO Baits I got in the mail today. Got a pack of swimmies, swim shad, and dragon tail. Well got a couple bites on the swim shad but never was able to set a hook so I switched to the swimmies. Maybe the color wasnt right or something but they didnt produce. Then I switched to the curl tail( texas rigged with no weight) and caught me two fish. One being a nice foot long crappie and the other being a small little bass.
