Zorinsky was drained in November of 2010 after zebra mussels were discovered in the lake. It has since been re-filled and water levels are back to normal. The lake has been restocked, but hasn't recovered to the pre-drainage days. At least in those areas accessible by the bank or by boat... Zorinsky holds a great secret for the kayak angler. The west end of the lake has a couple shallow flats as you enter some channels lined with cattails. It's nearly impossible for boats to access either channel, though extremely easy for a kayaker. Fishing in these areas is a roller coaster - it's either incredibly successful or it's terrible, with little in-between. However, based on the chance to fish in seclusion in the middle of a heavily populated area, it's worth checking out..
