King Lake is approximately 580 acres and is well stocked with black bass, crappie, shell-cracker, and bream. Large bass catches are a regular happening and the lake has yielded a 17 1/4 pounder. Bream weighing in at 2 pounds and greater, along with 3 pound crappie have been caught on many occasions..
