There are 5 sand pits at Louisville State Recreation Area just south of the Platte River. Lake #2 is the best - easy access from a dirt runway on the Northeast corner of the lake. Lake #2 is 35 feet deep in some areas. It has a few HUGE wipers in the lake, as well as a lot of largemouth bass, channel catfish, and bluegills. The lake is well protected from the wind, but there is a swimming beach on the north side of the west end. Overall, a great place to go for fishing as well as being a nice campground. Can be very busy in the summer with campers, especially on the weekends..

    • Yes. It will turn green with a full charge. Note that the box's power switch must he in the "on" position for the batteries to charge.
