Definitely one of my favorites. Beautiful scenery. Weekends and after school are very busy, but haven't had any problems there. This river is stacked with fish. Drop in at boat ramp, head south and get away from the park area. Lots of people fish the first half mile, so skip it and go down to the first set of swift moving water, you'll have to walk it up stream a little ways. It'll cool you down in the summer. After that, the fishing begins. There is some dragging between pools, nothing too terrible. Hardest spot is lifting it over the dam which I do by myself all the time. The fishing is worth it. This can be an all day trip..
