This is great location to paddle. Its a dirt street with parking at the end and about a 50 yard walk to the river. A cart will make the walk to the river easier but it does have a great wide path. From here you can head down river toward Weeks Bay or head up river where you'll find rocks and sandbars to get out on if you wish. The area where you leave your truck feels really safe and there are houses on both sides of your parking. I rated it a medium because if the slight step down to the river.

Magnolia River (Rock Street)

This is great location to paddle with great views. From here you can head down river toward Weeks Bay or head up river where you'll find rocks and sandbars to get out on if you wish. There is a little current when you get up river a ways and it gets shallow and sandy. The fishing is good both upriver and down with upriver being better in the current. If you choose to paddle down river there are a lot of beautiful houses to look at and maybe a dolphin when you near the bay. You have the best of both worlds here with it looking like a rocky creek up from here and a salt water marsh down river. All species of fish can be caught from here too both fresh and salt. I recommend this place to anybody that wants a nice quiet paddle with little or no boat traffic a beautiful scenery.
