This is at a Corps of Engineers campground. There are several places to launch here above and below the dam. On the above side you launch in the creek and can paddle out the the lake. On the below side there is a very steep ramp to put you in the river. Fishing is good at both places but I prefer the upper side for kayaks.

Issac Creek

This is at a Corps of Engineers campground and one of my favorite places to visit. There are several places to launch here above and below the dam. On the above side you launch in the creek and can paddle out the the lake. On the below side there is a very steep ramp to put you in the river. Fishing is good at both places but I prefer the upper side for kayaks with less power boat traffic. There are several camping sites with piers along the creek to keep your kayaks tied up too. If you decide to keep a few for dinner there is a nice cleaning station by the ramp. If your looking for a really nice place to camp and Yak this is a must do. You can bring a trailer or just a tent.
