Scooteney Reservoir is a over sized irrigation reservoir with plenty of fish. There are two boat ramps and a park. There is a small current here that isnt hard to work with and unless the wind is really blowing then this is a super easy paddle with plenty of fish.

Scooteney Reservoir

While trolling for walleye I kept on catching small perch. Real annoying and no fun unless you are using ultralights. So the next time I went out I took my stepfather out on my boat with the ultralight gear. Well it turns out the walleye here just wanted a smaller presentation and he hooked into and caught a nice walleye. They hold bass tournaments here from time to time so I know they are in there.
