Access to the Cuivre River is limited.  I found the R. H. Crouch access to the Cuivre River about 4 miles north of Troy MO on highway H. It is a Missouri Department of Conservation area.  Bass, Cat fish and Sun fish are reported to be in this area. The amount of water in the river varies and may requiring portaging now and then.
