Upper & Lower Phantom lakes are pretty typical southern Wisconsin lakes with a good mix of pan & gamefish. It's amazing for 2 lakes that are connected just how different the water is on each. Lower Phantom is more shallow, weedy & clear. Upper Phantom is quite the opposite. Both are decent for kayak fishing. The size isn't too big to paddle. The launch limits parking to vehicles with trailers so you'll need to park at the adjacent park & cart in or drop your yak at lakeside then park.
Good mix of fish so you're bound to catch somthing. I prefer Upper Phantom if it's not too windy. Lower Phantom is a nice lake for recreational kayaking with lots of backwater to explore.
