This boat ramp is a great access to many fishing locations within short paddling distance.  You could head south west from the ramp and fish the pilings of the Bay St. Louis Highway 90 bridge for sheeps head and triple tail during certain parts of the year or you could head straight north and fish the dock lights at night for trout all the way up to mallini point.  Mallini point is the point right when the shore makes a 90 degree turn east.  It has a piling sticking out of the water that holds many trout, redfish and flounder.
