Trussum Pond is a beautiful little pond located in southern Delaware.  There is a small boat ramp and pier for lauching.  There is an honor box for collecting park/ramp fees, $3 for instate vehicles and $6 for out of state.  The pond is populated with numerous flora and fuana.  One can expect to see numerous turtles, birds and fish.  The resident fish species include largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegill and pickerel too.  The pond contains standing cypress trees as well as submerged stumps, so depending on the water level navigation can be tricky.

Trussum Pond - A Jewel in Souther Delaware

I absolutely love paddling and fishing Trussum Pond. It is a little down the road from it's big brother Trap Pond and I believe it is a better place to paddle, fish and bird watch. It is a smaller pond that has more standing trees where you can fish and also get out of the sun or wind.
