WARNING! This park is supposed to open at 7am - but they often don't open the gate until 7:30am. This is a very crowded park on weekends - arrive early and leave before noon if you don't like crowds. Lush grass flats. The deeper holes on the north side of the causeway warrant your attention! Be prepared - The holes are a summer hangout for tarpon from 80-100 lbs.
