Popular launch, parking on side of road but well away from traffic. This is not a developed launch but a well used wide 100 yard trail down to the Cypress. Easy in, but more difficult as a take out. NOTE: about 1/4 mile downstream is a very hazardous lowhead dam that has claimed several lives, there is an excellent and short portage trail around this hazard.

    • Water in kayaks ?
    • I have a sit-in. I keep a bail bucket (a square-lipped quart-sized dinghy bailer) and a sponge. I like to keep dry once inside.
