Salt Water Lake separated from river by a dam to the South. There are gators here, so staying towards the middle is best. From about mid-March to early June, the water is drawn down. Launching and landing can become extremely difficult and muddy. Redfish and trout are common catches in Guana.

    • Water in kayaks ?
    • I have a sit-in. I keep a bail bucket (a square-lipped quart-sized dinghy bailer) and a sponge. I like to keep dry once inside.
