A very popular launch site for rec and fishermen. Very easy in but no real ramp, just a path, in fact several paths to the water's edge. Canoe rental very close by in Iron City. Plenty of parking in a mowed field. From here down steam is 1.5 mile to the TN/AL state line then another 6.5 miles to the only take-out on left at CR-8 in Alabama. This is a short but very steep haul out.

    • Water in kayaks ?
    • I have a sit-in. I keep a bail bucket (a square-lipped quart-sized dinghy bailer) and a sponge. I like to keep dry once inside.
