Stum Pass is a Florida State Park with a parking fee of $3.00 but free with an annual pass. The park is always attended by a ranger so security is no problem. Parking is somewhat limited so early arrival in season is a must. Access to the launch is so so, there is not a nice ramp into the water but several paths. The chanel between the park and adjacent Island has major boat travel. Paddle to the far side of the island and enjoy great fishing in the grass flats and very little boat traffic. The park has very clean restrooms and outdoor cold water showers.
