Jiggs Landing has just gone through a major renovation from being a parking lot with a ramp to a family park with a ramp. (check out the satelite view) Parking is a ways from the ramp but there is a staging area for kayaks that is close to the water. Kayaks have a launch facility of thier own so there is no issues with power boaters. The lake is formed by a dam at the far end and is fed by the Braden River. I nice paddle up the river will bring you to Linger Lodge, a nice lunch spot before the trip back down the river. Round trip is several hours. Fishing is good with Lunkers and pan fish. Oh yeah, gators live there too. I have never been botherd by one but they are there.
