Another one of Tampa Bays gems. A saltwater preserve, the park opens at 7am. It has two launch locations, one in Rivera Bay (this one is usually tied up with a kayak rental outfit) and the canoe and kayak launch, which is a floating dock. There is space next to it along the shore for one or two kayaks to launch from. From inside the park there are mangrove trails that take you to the outside flats along the bay. If choosing to stay on the inside, there are numerous oyster bars and mangrove cuts to fish..
