This is a great launch only downside is the hours are 8am to sunset. Its a good launch to back up to water and unload then park, super easy sand launch. The reason it is set as moderate is can be a lot wind, sometimes strong current, and boats/personal watercraft. You have to watch out on weekends it gets kinda busy from boaters. other than that there are sandbars everywhere to get out on and stretch, or have a picnic, or just relax. Great fishing, great view and a great place to just take a paddle, so get out there and try it..
