This is a drop in point for the 9 mile float run by most of the raft rental companies in Sullivan,MO. It is usually occupied by a lot of floaters during the late spring early summer months on weekends. Monday thru Thursday are the prime times to catch fish here as there is less traffic on the water. Large Drum, Small Mouth BASS, Large Mouth BASS, Goggle Eye, and several other panfish can be found here. Depending on the river level, you can lazily float down from shoreline cover to cover casting for the small mouth, or with lower water levels have a fun time navigating around log jams and rapids to get to the calmer waters. If you like some good days on the water, this is the place. Don't mistake this with the dirtier northern waters of the Meremac, these are the cleaner waters and much easier to sitecast to fish..
