North Point State Park is located on the majestic shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. The launch is sand, however the walk to the launch is around 100 yards. A cart is very helpful. There is a jetty/pier that sits 1000ft out into the bay that has rocks and other rip rap around. when the tide is moving, this is a good spot for stripers. You can also see the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from here, and assorted wildlife can be seen for picture taking. There is no launch fee, however, there is a day usage fee of $3.00 per vehicle to enter the park..
