Sandy Point State Park is in Annapolis Md. The park sits on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. There is a small craft launch for kayaks and canoes with parking close by. There is a day usage fee of $3.00 per vehicle before Memorial Day. The fee after Memorial Day and up to Labor Day is $5.00 per person. There is a beach for the family and grills for picnics are welcome. This park allows access to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and it's pilings. This is a hot zone for stripers. If the salinity is up, small Red Drum can be caught..
