part of the Peabody WMA so people will need to buy the special permit for it. Nice big area that holds some really good LM Bass. Because of all the plants and weeds in the water there is only about 1-2 foot of water to fish. I like to use a top water bait that makes a lot of commotion to bring the bass out of the weeds. The water is usually clear so you can find the open spots and thats where the bluegill are. I like to toss a wolley booger at them. Not to many boats and no need for a kart as long as you have a way to unload by the boat ramp. This is all dirt, rock, and mud so if you dont have a truck you might need a kart. Also during the summer there are tons of cattails and you can get turned around in here. Google maps does not show them so be aware of that..

    • I have a sit-in. I keep a bail bucket (a square-lipped quart-sized dinghy bailer) and a sponge. I like to keep dry once inside.
