Good mid level yak

Visit my blog for the full review: http://goaladv.blogspot.com

All and all this is decent mid level yak. Price and features were cool. Just sold mine to upgrade to jackson or other brand, hull design is the weak point for a fishing yak. It's great to paddle in but you have to be careful when fishing at times. I learned a lot thanks to this yak and it served me well.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
Price, features, speed
Cons:
Tippy at times for angling yak

Great Kayak at any price

After researching and paddling various kayaks, I ordered the Mojo Angler online. Got it for a great deal - couldn't have bought a good used kayak for what I paid for the Mojo and I was extremely impressed by when I received the boat.
I live near the Channel Islands Harbor and go out about once weekly to the open ocean in mostly good weather with seas average. This boat is stable, fast, has great tracking and extremely comfortable.
i do about 3-5 miles per trip and am always super happy with the handling of this kayak.
I just got back from vacationing in the tropics and rented other major brand kayaks there and I couldn't wait to get back home to my Mojo :)

Pros & Cons

Pros:
Speed, stability, durable
Cons:
None

Emotion Mojo Angler

The Emotion Mojo Angler tracks really well. I do find that the kayak is easy to paddle. Compared to the 32" width, the Mojo paddles fast compared to similar models at this width.

The stability of the Mojo Angler kayak is pretty impressive when compared to more higher dollar priced kayaks. I was able to stand in this kayak the first time that I was in it. I did feel uncomfortable while standing. I could feel the kayak rock from side to side but I never fell out of the standing platform.

The seat of the Mojo has a molded hinged backrest and you sit on the molded seating area. I did find that the seat managed to get hard and made sitting uncomfortable for a day of fishing. I ended up adding one of those air foam seat cushions.

I would recommend this kayak as an entry level kayak for angling.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
For a starter kayak that has a lot of storage; the kayak has a great price.
Cons:
Not as stable as I thought the Mojo Angler would be.

Emotion Kayak "Mojo"

The Emotion "Mojo" Kayak is one of the most comfortable kayaks I have ever paddled. There is lot's of leg room and the "sink" gives you plenty of space to work. There are adjustable foot peddles for the length of your legs. The "Mojo" does come with a removable center console. I like to remove it for more comfort. The seat is built in and the seating area is very comfortable. There are two scupper holes in the seating area but I plug them to stay dry. The storage area behind the seat accommodates small coolers, large crates, or your tackle and gear. There are two recessed rod holders in strategic locations behind the seat. The center console also includes a Scotty Rod holder.

The front hatch is plastic and the hull can hold a lot of gear. You can even store longer fishing rods and reels. A depth finder can easily be added and there is plenty of room for wiring. I have found the tracking to be phenomenal. This kayak can motor along at a very fast pace riding quietly in the water. It is affordable and very durable. I really like the new camo color. The "Mojo" is also easy to transport.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
Stability, tracking, storage, comfort
Cons:
manueverablility in tight spots

My first kayak

The Emotion Mojo was my first kayak and I still enjoy taking it out on the smaller creeks and ponds where my Grand Slam is just to big for. I have taken the Mojo out of large bays and it rides good threw the waves but you will get some that will come over the boat and get you soaked if you dont hit them right. The kayak is nice and wide at 32inches but there is a lot of (for lack of a better term) arm rest so it makes you take a long paddle. It also makes it a little harder to stand because the cock pit is a little narrow. I have taken it out and tried to flip it but every time I would fall in, the kayak would land right side up. I have even gone duck hunting in it and have shot from every angle and have never felt like I was going to fall out while sitting down.

This kayak is very easy to paddle and the tracking is good as long as your taking your time and not trying to race from place to place. My son has been paddling mine sense he was 5 and I have had friends around 350+lbs paddle it and everyone loves it.

Personally if I could only own one kayak this wouldnt be it but im not selling mine any time soon.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
stability, storage, durable, simple
Cons:
to wide, only cuts threw small waves
