The Sportsman AutoPilot 120 by Old Town is a kayak that has been designed to get you where you want to go and back with minimal effort. It is a 12' long and 37-inch wide motorized kayak that comes with a hefty price tag, but also plenty of features for avid anglers.

The most distinguishing feature of the Sportsman AutoPilot is its saltwater-ready 45 lb. thrust 12 Minn Kota motor. This motor, combined with a foot brace steering system gives you exceptional maneuverability as well as truly hands-free fishing options. This kayak also makes use of Spot-Lock technology which can keep it in position despite the wind or current. Being able to maintain your position while still keeping your hands free for things like casting or changing lures can make a big difference for anglers.

The Sportsman AutoPilot is also a very comfortable kayak and comes with a premium seat. The seat is durable, UV resistant, and also easy to clean thanks to dual-layer Textilene. The mid-layer of 3D mesh also adds to the comfort of the seat while still retaining the natural breathability of Textilene. The seat can be positioned high or low in the kayak or removed entirely when you want to transport it.

The large open cockpit of the Sportsman AutoPilot as well as the aft tank well not only gives you plenty of room to fish but also makes it easy to organize your gear. You get further traction and stand-up comfort due to the non-slip EVA foam deck pads. For accessories, there are four 18" tracks while two forward-facing and two rear-facing flush mount rod holders take care of all your rods.

Additional extras range from the shallow water anchor mounting inserts of the kayak to the tournament ready channels for securing your fish measuring board. However, as great as this kayak is, it is rather heavy due to the motor. The high price tag also means that it is not exactly going to be an impulse purchase. However, if you prefer fishing to paddle or pedal drives, then this kayak can save you a lot of time and effort.
