The Fisha 500 is an upgrade of the Evolution 495 kayak by Stealth. For this upgrade, they incorporated a lot of features from their Pro Fisha range in the new design. According to Stealth, the Fisha range places emphasis on stability over speed. The Fisha 500 also features a construction that is very similar to that of the Pro Fisha range. For durability, the Fisha 500 features a combination of specialized core materials and epoxy based resin systems for its construction. The result is a kayak range where the build is consistent in quality as well as finished weight.

In terms of specifications, the Fisha 500 is a 16.24ft long kayak with a width of 26.4 inches. It weighs 59.5 lbs and can handle a capacity of up to 441 lbs, although the maximum angler weight it supports is 287 lbs. This kayak has webbing carry handles to make it easy to transport as well as two drain holes, one for the fish hatch and one for the hull. To secure your paddle while fishing, the Fisha 500 features a shock cord with clear tubing and a protective mat to prevent the paddle from slipping around. The nice thing about the mat is that it also prevents your paddle from scratching your kayak when you slip it in and out of the elastic.

The Fisha 500 has a central fish hatch with a fiberglass lid. This central storage space is great for stowing your rods and reels, especially if you don't want to lose anything during launching and beaching in rough waters. This hatch is also great for storing any fish that you catch. You don't have to worry about combining the two either as the hatch has a built-in rod shoot to keep your rods above the fish. This way, there's no chance of your rod getting covered in fish slime. Thanks to the way that this storage space was designed, you won't have to worry about the fish sliding all the way to the back, either.

Since the Fisha 500 is a fishing kayak, it comes with two standard 50-degree trawling rod holders as well as 90-degree rod holders. The rear storage hatch has an 8-inch lid to secure all your extra lures, tackle, safety equipment, and other gear. For additional storage of larger items, you can make use of the small recess and rear webbing.

Overall, the Fisha 500 is a worthy upgrade to the Evolution 495 kayak and something any angler would appreciate.
