Feelfree Gemini

Kayak Make & Model

Feelfree has a number of angling specific kayaks, such as the Move Angler, Corona Angler, Lure series, as well as the Moken series if you are serious about the hobby. However, if you enjoy spending some recreational time with your family just as much as angling then their Gemini kayak is well worth a look. The Gemini is a 12'6" kayak with a width of 32.5" and a weight of 70.5 lbs. It has the capacity to accommodate up to 550 lbs, which according to Feelfree, is enough space for two paddlers along with a child or a pet.

Although the Gemini is spacious enough for two people, it is also a kayak that paddles well when you are solo, thanks to the adjustable seats. Thanks to its size and width, the Gemini has plenty of stability and its tracking isn't too bad either, which makes it suitable for those who are new to the hobby. The seats are quite comfortable and you also have easy access to two hatches, each with mesh storage bags. For additional storage, the Gemini has a rear storage tank well with bungees.

Considering its size, the Feelfree Gemini is not too heavy and has a couple of features that make it a little easier to transport. First up you will find molded-in handles on the sides, bow as well as stern of the kayak. Next up is the wheel in the keel feature that the Gemini has, which makes it a lot easier to move from water to land. Anyone with arms that are tired from paddling all day will really appreciate this feature.

While the Feelfree Gemini comes with a drinking bottle holder, the recess rod holder is an optional accessory, so check whether it is included before purchasing if you want to get some angling done. Finally, the Gemini has molded-in paddle parks as well as a drain plug. Other optional accessories that are available for this kayak range from a Uni-Pod to skey and thigh straps.

If you only ever go out on the water solo or want a kayak that is specifically made for angling, then the Feelfree Gemini is probably not for you. However, if you are looking for a way to spend more time with your family and get a little fishing done on the side, then you can't go wrong with this kayak.
