Feelfree Overdrive Lure II Tandem

Kayak Make & Model

Brand:
Feelfree
MSRP ($):
1,499.00
Length (ft):
14

The Overdrive Lure II Tandem by Feelfree is designed to appeal to anglers who would like to take someone along on their fishing trips. It is a 14'2" tandem kayak that is 36" wide and weighs 114 lbs. This is quite hefty even for a tandem kayak, but the additional weight is thanks to the Overdrive unit that can be found in the rear seat cockpit area. The Lure II Tandem has a capacity of 475 lbs and comes with a range of useful features for anglers.

Feelfree has ensured that despite this being a tandem kayak that it still has the same comfort, versatility and stability that anglers expect from a fishing kayak. This doesn't mean that it is useless to solo anglers either as it can easily be used as a solo kayak from the rear seat position. Best of all, when using the solo position you have plenty of options too. Removing the front seat not only provides you with additional storage and standing space, but also makes adding a stand up bar an option.

The fact that the Lure II Tandem is designed for one or two anglers, and gives you to option of paddling pedaling or even using a motor, makes it one of the most versatile options out there. Other highlights of this kayak includes a completely removable sonar pod that enables you to install fishfinders or transducers without having to drill any holes in your kayak. Of course, like other kayaks in this line-up, the Lure II Tandem is easy to transport thanks to its wheel in the keel design. In addition, it has integrated bow, stern and side carry handles. The Lure II Tandem has two fishing rod holders along with a track system, so you have plenty of outfitting options. Finally, it has a large tankwell to take care of your storage needs.

Overall, the Lure II Tandem is a very attractive option even if you only occasionally need the tandem feature. It features a solid design, attractive price and plenty of useful angling features.
