Sea Eagle has already been designing and selling inflatables for more than 45 years, so they know a thing or two about the market. This can also clearly be seen when looking at their 358fta FastTrack Angler kayak, which is tailor made for fishing. It’s dimensions are 12'5” x 36” and weighs in at about 44 lbs in total. It features an impressive weight capacity of 635 lbs and can even be configured as a tandem kayak if you want to take someone else out with you on the water. According to Sea Eagle, the FastTrack Angler can accommodate up to three people, but unless you want things to feel too crowded it is best to stick to one or two. Many of the kayaks offered by Sea Eagle are versatile enough to be used for angling, but as the name suggests, the FastTrack Angler is made specifically for this hobby.

The FastTrack Angler is an inflatable kayak, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that it is not durable. The kayak is as tough as crocodile hide and features a combination of double reinforced welded/glued seams for added sturdiness. To make the kayak even more rigid the FastTrack also has a separate inner floor. Not only is it comfortable, thanks to the EVA foam padding, but also provides better grip and enables you to perform standing casts with ease.

Stability is important for an angling kayak, but the speed and tracking of the FastTrack is nothing to scoff at either. To improve tracking, Sea Eagle has designed the FastTrack with an inflatable NeedleKnife high-pressure drop stitch keel at the bow. This also ensures that wind, waves or currents doesn’t pose any difficulty for the FastTrack. Sea Eagle has added spray skirts to the front as well as the rear of the kayak and also made them more useful by adding holders for your rods, lures, hooks and other tools. If you need more space to stow away gear you’ll find a bungee cord storage area in the front of the kayak and built-in storage below it. Like with any good angling kayak, the FastTrack also has plenty of D-rings. Sea Eagle has even included a fish measurement ruler on the starboard pontoon, which means you’ll never forget or lose it.

Overall, the FastTrack is another great inflatable angling kayak from Sea Eagle. The only downsides are that it is slightly on the heavy side and inflation time is maybe a bit long, but other than that you can’t go wrong with it.
