For anglers who like what the UH-TK29 kayak from Brooklyn Kayak Company has to offer, but has no need for the extra seat, the UH-PK14 is definitely a better option. This solo kayak features pedals with adjustable foot straps that are smooth to operate and very responsive. Using the pedals in conjunction with the hand-operated rudder means you have to exert way less energy to get where you need and can conserve your strength for reeling in the big catches. The PK14 is 12.9-feet long and measures in at 2.7-feet wide. It weighs 81.5 pounds, which is slightly on the heavy side, but this is unavoidable considering the style and design of the kayak. It does have a maximum load capacity of 350 pounds, so you don’t have to worry about leaving any gear behind when you go fishing.

Comfort is very important if you spend a lot of time on the water and the PK14 delivers thanks to an adjustable ergonomic seat. It has an aluminum frame and features padding for both the seat and backrest while multiple adjustment points ensures you can get as comfortable as possible. Anglers will appreciate the storage capacity of this kayak as it has a spacious rear cargo area where you can secure your tackle box, cooler or other large items using the bungee tie-down straps. It also has three watertight storage hatches that are built into the hull and bungee straps on the bow for other items. Of course, no fishing kayak is complete without rod holders and the PK14 features flush mount ones, so you can keep your rods in the water hands-free. Thanks to the pedals, it is also easy to troll with the fishing rod in your hands.

The streamlined hull of the PK14 features a blow-molded design and this kayak is stable as well as easy to handle in just about any type of water and weather conditions. Like most Brooklyn Kayak Company products, the PK14 is available in blue, green camo or gray camo.
