Designed to be a fishing kayak that caters to the needs of discerning fishing enthusiasts, the Pescador Pro 10 is another entry in the respected Pescador series from Perception Kayaks. It is designed to provide anglers with the tracking and stability required to get the best out of their kayaks while its speed is pretty impressive as well. The wide hull of this kayak enhances its stability and it also tracks well thanks to its deep hull. Equally noteworthy is its maneuverability.

Anglers who are familiar with the Pescador series will immediately notice that the Pro 10 is sporting a brand new stadium-style seat, which is able to provide much better comfort. The seat can be used in an upright or recline position and it can also be removed if cleaning is ever required. In addition, the seat can be adjusted forward or backwards to ensure that you have a comfortable fit to match your size. You can also maintain a proper paddling posture thanks to the adjustable footbrace system that is included.

Storage isn’t an issue on the Pro 10 either as it has two different storage areas on the stern. The first is a 5” dry well and the second is an above deck option that is mesh covered. In the rear you will find a scupper-drained story area where you can tether your gear down with the bungees. The bungees can also be removed if you prefer to use the space for a cooler or crate. Finally, you have dual molded-in rod holders to ensure you always have a fishing pole at the ready and the YakAttack Gear Trac system for all your accessories.

Another nice feature of the Pro 10 is the center console, which has space for a fish finder, enough room for a tackle box, and a mold-in cup holder for your beverage needs. Fishing was definitely at the forefront of the Pro 10’s design and it really shows. It has a great design and is very capable out on the water when fishing.
