Ocean Kayak
Trident 15
MSRP ($):
Length (ft):

Thanks to the input from some serious kayak anglers about the design of this kayak, the Trident 15 packs almost everything you could wish for out on the ocean water. It handles well, even in rough seas, and was also designed to be the fasted kayak in the Trident range. In conditions where kayaks with shorter hulls might begin to falter or require extra effort to paddle the Trident 15 will continue to power on.

The Trident 15 not only delivers in terms of performance, but also comfort and features. Anglers who spend all day out on the water will appreciate the ACS II seat and adjustable foot rests Customization is possible thanks to the centre Mod Pod II, which enables you to attach rod holders, fish finders and other accessories. It even has a magnetic gear holder and tackle compartment for added convenience. No matter what size your fish finder transducer is, the over-sized transducer scupper hole on this kayak should provide a comfortable fit for it.

In terms of storage you’ll find plenty of space in the rear tankwell, while the stern and bow Click Seal Hatches offers additional options. Also on the bow is a rod tip cover, so you can launch or land even on rough surfaces. In addition, the Trident 15 has reflective deck rigging, two flush mounted rod holders, Gunnel accessory tracks and paddle holder with a rod rest. The carrying handles on this kayak are side-mounted. It is not the cheapest kayak on the market, but definitely one that will appeal to anglers who are serious about their hobby.
