amazing kayak!!!!!!

One of the best kayaks out there, regardless of the price. I researched kayaks for almost a whole year before i decided on this one and I am completely satisfied with my choice and regret nothing. This kayak I believe can compete with Jackson and Old Town predators any day. I can stand in it all day long and can throw a cast net off of it. since I fish large areas and often travel close to a mile to get to my spots, i didn't want a kayak that paddled like a barge. Although this kayak takes some momentum to get moving, I don't feel exhausted over long distances. The rudder is helpful when turning and if you are fishing with the wind at your back you can maneuver your direction almost like a pedal kayak. it is however can not be turned by using just your toe, as vibe advertised it. this is not a major detail and does not take away from the overall kayak. The front hatch is awesome and you can fit multiple rods down inside. The fish pod is also great but can be inconvenient to have to unbuckle and re buckle, but i will probably add a Wesley Nowlen hatch kit will make this easier. Weighing only 120 pounds i trust my weight to sit on it and hang my legs over the side to fish. i should have done more research to figure out the holes don't fit Railblaiza products but it holds a Scotty rod holder just fine. The gear tracks are very helpful but I haven't used them very much yet. Something else to note is that the scupper plugs do sink so be careful with them. When researching this kayak I figured I would never use the bow paddle park, just the side ones but the bow one is helpful. The seat is very comfortable and better than some of the ones on much more expensive kayaks. i can spend the whole day sitting in it and feel great. The tackle storage on the side of the seat is also helpful for holding pliers or fish grips or something else. The flush mount rod holders are convenient for rods, a landing net, or an anchor. you can clip a rod leash to the back bungee hooks for the seat. The back hatch is nice but i haven't found much purpose for it. The tank well can easily hold a milk crate and a small backpack. In conclusion this kayak is great for almost any body of water and you can even take it off shore. It has plenty of storage for long trips and camping. It comes with tones of fishing features and not much modification is needed. It does get blown around by the wind relatively easily but an anchor can easily fix this. This kayak can not be beat for the price and has great quality and workmanship. You can't go wrong when buying this kayak.

Vibe Seaghost review

I have owned my vibe Seaghost for over a year now it has taken on rivers, great lakes, inland lakes. This yack is awesome! I added a rear facing seat to take my son out with me and always have him with me. This yack is stable enough for both of us to stand up at the same time. It is fast on the water even with my 10 year old on the back. I have out paddeled every other sit on top yack I have gone out with. The rudder is a huge asset. It drafts very shallow I can float in 3" of water with both of us abord. Had an issue where I lost the rudder pivot clip after backing into a shale bank wall. I filed a warranty claim for the clip 3 days later a complete new rudder showed up. They stand behind their products and the owners group on Facebook is amazing, helpful and willing to help each other out and allow potential new customers demo their yack to help potential new owners and vibe. Their no drama just adventure montra is truly a lifestyle of a vibe owner. Great kayaks, amazing price, as capable if not more than yacks at 2 times the cost. If you buy a vibe you will not regret it.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
Best fishing platform at that price point
Cons:
Center console long wish seat flipped up vertical to allow for standing platform.

2017- Vibe Sea Ghost 130

This is definitely the best yak you will find if it fits YOUR fishing requirements.
Very comfortable seat, especially in the raised position.
Extremely stable, stood up first time out, might want to add a "pull up" strap if you core is out of shape!
Very fast in the water, Hook 4 said I was cruising at 3.33 mph ...WOW!
The one dislike and not that it is all that bad, is the console could be a little shorter. My only drawback.
Things to remember!
It is heavier, so loading on cartop requires some additional accessories (C-Tug or similar wheel cart) to move it around. I also had to get a "Boat Roller" to place on the trunk to slide it up on the "j-bars", Very helpful.
This is Why I Vibe!! Awesome Yak!

Pros & Cons

Pros:
The yak does everything you would expect it to do. Tracks great, wind at your back -Rudder steers you perfectly!
Cons:
Just wish the center console was only half the size giving you some "flat space" to leave things on deck without being forced under the leg area.

Best Around for the money

Great kayak for the money. This boat handles large swells and rough water with ease. I have yet to turtle in this kayak either. Fishes great. I would recommend this brand over any other.

Best bang for the buck out there!

I saw this kayak online about a year ago. I started researching kayaks and realized that you would have to spend hundreds more to get a comparable kayak from one of the big companies. I took a gamble and purchased the 2015 Seaghost and haven't been disappointed. I use it in the surf to take out my shark baits and have also used it in the bay. It tracks very well, is fast, and very stable. The only con could possibly be that I didn't wait for the 2016 model that looks even better. I would highly recommend this kayak to anyone.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
speed, price, included rudder system, stability
Cons:
none
