So as most of you have noticed, one of the things that we do here on YakAngler is to showcase products that may help you in your quest for the best kayak fishing products.  Often times we come across products that we like or that seem like they would be a good addition to you kayak or your tackle box.  Today I wanted to highlight fishing line.  So see below for 5 pretty cool products that may just help you put the big one in your boat.

suffix_adFrom Sufix, 832 Advanced Superline incorporates Gore Performance Fibers with Dyneema to provide superior strength, roundness, and line consistency; allowing longer and more accurate casts, improved abrasion resistance, and reduced line vibration in a superthin line. It’s offered in Neon Lime and Lo-Vis Green, in break strengths from 6 to 80 pounds; and in 150-, 300-, and 600-yard spools.

TatsuSeaguar® recently introduced TATSU™ – an amazingly strong, yet supple, fluorocarbon fishing line with extraordinary knot strength and exceptional castability.

Available in 4 to 20 lb test in 200 yd spools, TATSU™ also features Level Wind Technology™, another Seaguar® exclusive.  This process spools the line by laying it down side by side, never crossing itself. The final spool is as smooth as a spool of thread, with no cross contact marks, for maximum line strength without any line overstress or twist.

TrileneBerkley Trilene TransOptic Monofilament Line is the ultimate "line-watchers" line. It's the first and only nylon monofilament fishing line to physically change color. Berkley's proprietary technology in the Trilene TransOptic Line is activated by UV light, changing from clear to gold in sun light. This allows the line to be Hi-Vis above the water and clear below. Easily manageable for a wide variety of baits and techniques, the Berkley Trilene TransOptic Line provides excellent shock strength and abrasion-resistance for an all-around tough and dependable line. Berkley Trilene TransOptic Monofilament ñ You see it, Fish don't.

SuffixDon’t just get to the bottom; sink to the bottom with new Performance Lead Core from Sufix®, a high tenacity polyester braid with a high density lead center that gets anglers to their desired depth, faster. For trolling and deep-water jigging applications, Sufix Performance Lead Core features 10 vivid colors every 10 yards, providing instant visual reference as to line length and corresponding lure depth. Whether their forte is running crankbaits in freshwater or grinding the ocean depths with a heavy jig, anglers will save time and get to their preferred depth with accuracy every single time. Sufix Performance Lead Core is available in 12 lb., 15 lb., 18 lb., 27 lb. and 36 lb. test. Get down deep and let the fight begin.

SpiderwireSpiderWire's newest product and a contender in the 2010 ICAST best in show.  A sinking braid. Does the world need a sinking braid? Absolutely! Especially when the line comes with improved tensile strength, handles heat well, and features less friction on the line guides (for more casting distance). The other advantage-the angle of the line from rod tip to bait is much flatter than with a sinking line...this improves sensitivity.

SpiderWire created this line by blending a high-density fluoropolymer with Dyneema. It's available in one color, moss green and nine break strengths from 10 to 100 pounds (diameters from 2 to 20). Spools of 125, 300, 1500 and 3000 are available
