Rapala DT Fat 3 – This crankbait produces a very aggressive wobble action and the square lip allows you to pull through and over cover looking for fish. The square lip is very important as fishing shallow cover can really turn up the bite this time of year.
Rapala Clackin’ Rap – the lipless crankbait is one of my go to baits most of the year but I really like the concept behind the clackin’ rap. It has a steel ball and metal discs that create clackin effect went it moves. Simply put, it’s one of the better lipless crankbaits on the market right now.
Strike King The Burner Spinnerbait – as mentioned before this is a great time of year for fan casting for bass. This 2 blade spinner bait is awesome for covering a lot of water area and swims just under the surface. It comes in five different colors including Sexy Shad.
Strike King Shad-A-Licious – This is probably one of the most popular swimbaits on the market. It comes in several different sizes and produces a great presentation. I typically rig this with a weighted hook but you could also use on an open ball jig head.
Booyah Boogie Bait – “Jiggling like it drank too many cups of coffee” this is a pretty cool bait that swims like and injured bait fish and has the flash of a spinnerbait. It really just dances like crazy on the retrieve and is really fun to fish with.
