Pros & Cons

RCI monster Hole

I cant say enough great things about the products RCI produces.

I frequently use my amber lens monsterholes when fishing the flats, bays, the beach, and creeks. The polarization on these lenses is phenomenal. They block the glare extremely well and the amber lenses easily let me detect changes in contrast on the flat which is essential when sight fishing. The hydrophobic coating on the lens repels water very well. If your lenses get wet, all you have to do is blow on them and the water will run off without leaving streaks or smudges and you are ready to focus on fishing and not on finding a way to clean your shades.

The monsterhole frames are very comfortable, and the sides wrap around my head very nicely preventing any light from getting in and obstructing my vision when scanning the water.

RCI is a small up-and-coming company which might make some people skeptical about how their products compares in quality to the "big" companies, but once you hold a pair in your hand and try them on, you will clearly see that they make one of the best, if not the best lenses in the market.

RCI Optics Sunglasses

One of the most valuable tools for the waterperson is a quality pair of polarized sunglasses. The folks at RCI Optics have utilized some of the most advanced materials and lens technology available. From the Italian made Ballista 2.0 frame material, HELIUS 2.2 RCT high impact lenses, 100% UV A-B-and C polarization, Xiphos 4.0 lens treatments, Mil standard 662 ballistic approved, ANSI Z-87.1 approved, and multi-layer anti reflective coatings RCI has covered every aspect of clarity, polarization and safety. I've had the pleasure of using a pair of the Mosquito Lagoons for over a year now and they have performed flawlessly ! They have well surpassed any other pair of shades I've ever worn. Bottom line, I see more fish on the flats ! Even for offshore use, lakes, streams, rivers, or just a day out in the sun, RCI Optics sunglasses are outstanding !
