An Afternoon With Team Skunk

Yep, I got skunked. But it's not as bad as it sounds.

I didn't know if I would be getting out today or not. My truck had been giving me some trouble and when I saw the check engine light come on I thought, here we go again. I reset the light and let it run for about an hour. No problems, good. Now, where to go? I really didn't want to wander too far and wind up getting stranded. So, I went to the reservoir in Franklin. I got skunked, unless hooking a tree counts as a catch. I still can't believe I caught that branch. The cast was low and parallel  to the water. Then, out of nowhere there was a branch and I got it. The day wasn’t a loss, I spent time on the water, got to try a tool caddy that I made and use a new rod and reel.  Just being on the water, paddling the kayak is a good day. However, I do like to catch something besides trees.
