Do What Feels Right

Kayak fishing is a very easy venture.  It starts out simple - you get a kayak and bring your rod & reel along for the ride - now you are a kayak angler!

But nothing is ever that easy.  Next thing you know, you decide to make a tricked-out crate to sit in the back of your kayak.  Then you add those sweet rod-holders you saw someone else using on their kayak.  You get tired of using your paddle as a depth finder and decide to add a fish-finder to your rig.  How about throwing some stickers on the sides?  Some kayaks look like floating billboards.

I put my own touches on my kayak, and also incorporated a lot from setups that I saw others have success with, and some worked for me - some did not.

The important thing is "does it feel right?" and if it does, go for it brother.  You have to live with/fish with your kayak - do what feels right for you!
