YakAngler Goes to Florida
As I mentioned above, Mark and I just returned home from a 4 day fishing trip down in Florida with some of our good friends from YakAngler. We will have some articles coming soon about our trip but for now let me just give a special thanks to some folks that made our trip such a great time.
• Rob “abadbackcast”
• Chip and Brad Gibson “treehugger” and “Clone”
• Chuck “Redfish Chuck”
• Dee “reelkayakfishing”
• Steve “Shallow Pockets”
• David Simms of Action Watersports
• Jimmy from the Tackle Shack
• Bill and Lynn Watanabe “Mark’s parents to put a roof over my head and fed me while down in Florida”. You guys are awesome!
Isaac Goes to ICAST
Also as mentioned above Isaac “the nothing” Miller just returned from a four day trip to ICAST so I’m sure that he will be filling us all in on the many new and exciting things hitting the market in 2011.
You will see some new features coming to YakAngler in the upcoming months but I think that the one that I’m the most excited to tell you about is our Recommended Guide Services. This is exciting because this will not be our recommended guides but yours. In order for any guide to be added to this list they must receive five legitimate recommendations from clients and we will post some of their comments. This will be a great feature for those of us traveling or just looking to get out on the water with a local pro in that area.
Currently we have three stickers for sale in the STORE
The new YakAngler/Heroes on the Water shirts should be in next week and will be added to the store as well. With every t-shirt that we sell we will donate a portion of the proceeds to Heroes on the Water to help support the great things that they are doing for our men and women in the service.
Kayak Fishing Radio
And last but certainly not least, I want give you guys a heads up on what I think is going to be the next BIG thing in Kayak Fishing. Kayakfishingradio.com launched two weeks ago and will be on every Thursday at 8:00 PM EST. You can catch Chip “Treehugger” taking calls from folks all across the country giving their updates about the fishing in their neck of the woods. YakAngler will be also tuning in every week to support our good friend Chip in this new social medium for kayak fishing.
Well, as I said before we’ve been busy and we’re looking forward to all the great things to come. Thanks again for all your support and we’ll keep you posted with all the new things headed this way.
