Fishing back in the day

You often hear old timers in the bait shop or around the boat launch talking about “The good ole days” of fishing. I tried but couldn’t find any pre 1970’s photos of folks kayak fishing. Here are a few photos I’ve dug up from the State of Florida, Oregon, and Washington Archives. These vintage fishing photos give you an idea of what those old timers are talking about.

Nice photos! Isn't is interesting that the people in those pictures looked more "healthy" and "vibrant!"

Awesome photos! I particularly liked the first one labeled Winchester Bay Salmon. I love the old medium format cameras. It gives so much more character and depth to an image than most things do today. Thanks for posting.
