Wade For It

When Spencer Jones was planning his trip from Wisconsin to Alabama to chase our beloved shoal bass I knew the place we needed to go. It is not the easiest spot to get to and the fun part is that it requires some wading. After a short float we were near the shoal I wanted us to wade and shortly after this picture was taken he landed his first ever shoal bass. We had a blast chasing critters in the Chattahoochee and spent most of the hot day wading in the cool riffles. Sometimes the best way to chase a new species is to get out of the boat and wade for it!
